Counselling Services

Taber, Alberta

Glad You're Here

The journey of counselling is as unique as each individual accessing it.  The goal of all services offered is an opportunity to heal, to face difficulties and to forge a path forward into wellness.  I have the privilege of providing a space and tools that will allow you to freely explore what this path looks like for you.    You are welcome, and deserving of the opportunity to feel better.  I'm looking forward to meeting you.

Next Steps

When you are ready to reach out, you will call or email and we will have a brief introduction.  My goal is to ensure that we are a good match and that we both feel confident in moving forward.  Connection is a key to success in counselling and I want to ensure that I am the right person to walk with you on this journey.

Appointments

Appointments can be made via phone or email.  I do not direct bill insurance companies, but will gladly provide you with a receipt for submission.  Sessions are $120 per hour, and I offer a sliding scale with the goal of making counselling accessible and sustainable for all.

Statement of Truth and Reconciliation

I honour and acknowledge that I conduct business, live and play on the traditional lands of the Treaty 7 People.  As such, it is my job to honour and respect my neighbors and friends the Kianai, Siksika, and Piikani peoples of the Blood, Kainiai, and Siksika First Nations, as well as, the Metis peoples of Region 3 of the Metis Nation of Alberta.   As a settler and colonizer, it is my duty to educate  myself on the best ways to understand the history and spirit of Treaty 7 so I can honour the past, be aware the present, and build a future,  Please ask me about the ways that I honour the 94 Calls to Action as published by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (2012).  As a business, One Oak celebrates and values the resiliency, successes, teachings, and unique contributions of all Treaty 7 People.
