Hello

I'm Amy and I'm glad you're here.  I live in Taber with my family and collection of pets.  I completed my first degree (a BA with a Major in Psychology) at the University of Lethbridge, and my Bachelor of Social Work degree at the University of Victoria.  I am a proud Registered Social Worker.  I grew up in Calgary, came to Taber for a job opportunity, and never left.  I enjoy small town living and love that a smaller population means that each person has a greater impact.  I find joy in a good cup of coffee, live music, my family and my old dog, Rosie (the Riveter).  I am a life long learner and love to read - preferably in the sunshine.

I have worked in the non profit sector for most of my career in the fields of family violence prevention and substance use recovery.  I love grassroots organizations and take pride in volunteering with the Taber Equality Alliance.  I started my private practice in 2021 in hopes of making counselling accessible for all and connecting with the community.
